Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been named UEFA Player of the Year 2022 after his special season of 2021-2022 when he won the Champions League to identify himself with his teammates.
Quite unexpectedly, Karim Benzema received the award " participant of the UEFA Champions League season 2021/22.


Last season, the striker scored exceptional form during his career, scoring 15 goals and giving two assists, and led Real Madrid to a 14th victory in the UEFA Champions League. Benzema's first-class performances at this stage of the tournament led to a confrontation with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, and Los Blancos, who won, returned to the brink of development throughout the tournament.

Benz, who scored 15 goals last season, became the 1/3 top scorer (with Robert Lewandowski) in the UEFA Champions League, scoring 86 goals in Europe's most effective tournament.
The footballer of the French national team did not become the best footballer of Real Madrid, who received the award on Wednesday evening, as his teammate Vinicius Junior also received the "best young footballer of the UEFA Champions League season".



Vinicius liked the progress in the 2021/22 season, he scored 22 goals in tournaments, while four of them took part in the Champions League draw. The duo has been additionally named in the Team of the Season alongside Real midfielder Luca Modric and goalkeeper Thibaut Curian, who starred in the showdown at the Stadium of France.



Liverpool's runners were represented by the path of defenders Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk, and Andy Robertson in addition to midfielder Fabinho.
