Lamar Jackson Archived From The Orignal Lamar Demeatriz Jackson Jr. (born January 7, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). While playing college football at Louisville, he won the Heisman Trophy, the Maxwell Award, the Walter Camp Award, and was unanimously selected as an All-American at some point in his sophomore year in 2016. Jackson was selected by the Ravens as the thirty-second all-purpose pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He started his rookie season as a backup but became the team's starting quarterback after an injury to starter Joe Flacco. During the season, Jackson helped the team win the AFC North Division title and became the youngest quarterback to make the playoffs.
