 Boxing Day is a holiday celebrated on the day after Christmas, which falls on the second day of Christmas. Although it originated as a holiday for giving gifts to the poor, nowadays Boxing Day is most often called a holiday for shopping. It originated in the United Kingdom and is celebrated in some international locations that were previously part of the British Empire. In the UK in Canada In Australia, Trinidad and Tobago, and New Zealand Boxing Day is known as a shopping trip. For many traders, Boxing Day has become the day of the year with the highest income. In the United Kingdom in 2009, it was planned that up to 12 million buyers expected income (an increase of almost 20% compared to 2008, although it was also affected by, that VAT began to return by about 17.5% after a temporary decrease from January 1 to 15%). 

Many stores open too early (usually five in the morning or maybe earlier) and offer deals on door crackers and loss leaders to attract people to their stores. Often long queues form early on the morning of December 26, a few hours earlier than the store's huge income, mainly in large retail stores of patron electronics. because of the crowd, standing shoulder to shoulder, many prefer to live at home and avoid hectic shopping. Local media regularly cover this event, telling about how early customers started queuing and showing videos of how customers stand in line and then leave with the purchased goods.  many trading units conduct a practice, the purpose of which is to work with a large number of buyers.
