FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualification

Qualification summary

While the most recent OFC notification did not indicate the form, the most recommended design currently becomes:

First Round: the 11 teams of the OFC could be divided into two organizations according to their FIFA ranking, and play spherical-robin matches in centralized locations. The top groups of each group would be reinforced to the second round.

Second Round: the four groups could perform back and forth attacks. The eventual winner would advance to the play-offs between Confederations.

UEFA

The draw for the first round (group grade) was held in Zürich, Switzerland on 7 December 2020 at 18:00 CET (UTC+1). however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the draw became a virtual occasion without any gifts from representatives of member institutions.
